Ancestor Cairn

Many of our ancestors were laid to rest in a shallow pit in a sacred space, and covered with river cobbles and a small mound of earth. Hundreds of these ancestor cairns surround Qithyil and are found throughout our territory. They mark the places we laid our loved ones to rest and create a spiritual landscape.
